National Peanut Butter Day

Peanut butter has to be one of my staples in life. Creamy or chunky...I love them both. It is such a versatile ingredient as well. You can create sweet or savory dishes or have as a quick snack. Plus it's packed with protein! Well, today we pay homage to our beloved childhood favorite.
 
Here are a few recipes that can be made with your favorite brand of peanut butter.
Thai Noodles with Spicy Peanut Sauce
This is a quick and easy meal that can be done on any busy week night. It is full of vegetables with a touch of heat and a little crunch. The recipe can be found here from food.com

Peanut Butter Pie
This has to be one of my all time favorite desserts. It has the amazing combination of peanut butter and chocolate. It's silky and smooth. You cannot go wrong. Here is a delicious version made by Food Network stars, Gina and Patrick Neely.

Peanut Butter Banana Wrap
For a quick grab and go breakfast spread 2 Tbsp of chunky peanut butter on a whole wheat wrap. Top with slices of banana and roll it up. This is a great way to get a good source of protein that will keep you going all morning.
